Runnels Central Appraisal District Website and Affiliate Application Privacy Policy (the “Privacy Policy”)

Runnels Central Appraisal District (collectively “us”, “we”, “our”, or “RCAD”) manages runnelscad.org (the “Website”) and the electronic mailing list signup (the “List”) (collectively, the “Services”). This page informs you of our policies regarding the collection, use and disclosure of Personal Information when you use our Services.

We will not use or share your information with anyone except as described in this Privacy Policy. We use your Personal Information for providing and improving the Services. By using these Services, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy. Unless otherwise defined in this Privacy Policy, terms used in this Privacy Policy have the same meanings as in our Terms and Conditions.

Information Collection And Use

While using our Services, we may ask you to provide us with certain personally identifiable information that can be used to contact or identify you. Personally identifiable information may include, but is not limited to, your name, address, phone number, and email address (“Personal Information”). We collect this information for the purpose of providing the Services.

RCAD does not sell, trade, or rent your Personal Information to others unless otherwise required by judicial or administrative proceedings or other law. We may share generic aggregated demographic information not linked to any personal identification information regarding visitors and users with our business partners, trusted affiliates and advertisers for the purposes outlined above. We may also use third-party service providers, vendors, or contractors to help us operate our business and our Services or administer activities on our behalf.

By providing certain Personal Information to us, you acknowledge and signify that RCAD has your consent to use your Personal Information for the conduct of RCAD’s official business, to include sharing your Personal Information with certain third parties for these limited purposes. By uploading, transmitting, or otherwise providing your Personal Information to us or any of our managed Services, you further acknowledge and signify that such information was provided voluntarily and that you consent to your Personal Information being shared, if necessary, with certain third parties for the official conduct of RCAD business. All information collected or maintained by RCAD is subject to the Texas Public Information Act (Chapter 552, Texas Government Code) which regulates what is permitted and prohibited from disclosure to the public. Log Data

When you access our Services by or through a desktop or mobile device, we may collect certain information automatically, including, but not limited to, the type of device you use, your device’s unique ID, the IP address of your device, your operating system, the type of Internet browser you use and other statistics (“Log Data”).

RCAD has no control over, and assumes no responsibility for, the content, privacy policies or practices of any third-party sites or services, even if affiliated with RCAD but not directly managed by RCAD or RCAD personnel.

This Privacy Policy only applies to the Services directly managed by RCAD, including this Website. When you follow a link to another site, even the sites of state agencies, local governments, and local Runnels County officials, this policy will not apply. These sites and services may have their own privacy policies and customer service policies. Browsing and interaction on any other website, including websites which have a link to our Site, is subject to that website’s own terms and policies.

Only persons aged 18 or older have permission to access our Services. Our Services do not address anyone under the age of 13 (“Children”).
