RCAD Policies
- Tax collection information, including delinquencies, is not available from the Runnels Central Appraisal District.
- Current Year Real and Personal Property Records on the internet server are usually updated from the District’s system on a nightly basis. Property owners needing more current or additional information may contact RCAD at the information provided on the contact page. Please click here for Business Hours & Location.
- Property ownership records are obtained from deeds and other such documents filed in public record with the Runnels County Clerk. RCAD makes no guarantees the individuals or organizations identified as property owner constitute the full record of persons with legal title interest. Contact the Deeds Clerk with any questions or concerns.
- Mapping parcel data is derived from deed records and ground surveys, as this confidential information is provided to this office by property owners or filed in public record. RCAD uses surveys and deed metes and bounds to determine property lines to the best of our ability. However, we do not guarantee accuracy of any property boundaries on the ground.
Please contact our office if you have any other questions.
Functionality
Property Search
- Use the BACK function of your browser or click the Return to Search link at the top of the page to return from the account detail screen to the Search Results.
- Although there is no limit to the amount of results that may be returned on any given search, search parameters (e.g., Name, Property Address, etc.) are particular and require a degree of specificity. Follow the provided hints and try either more or fewer constraints on your search if the search results are too many, too few, or none are produced with the criteria provided.
Online Map
- In order to use the parcel data from the online Runnels Central Appraisal District Map, you must agree to the Disclaimer.
- The RCAD Online Map has a general search by address or place and a Query function by parcel/property id or abstract number.
- To retrieve parcel data for a particular property account, simply click anywhere within the shape (delineated by a blue line).
- Some properties are co-owned by multiple people as undivided interest with separate accounts for individual taxation. Therefore, you may need to click the arrow at the top of the parcel data pop-up in order to view information for additional owners.
